Services for Clara Dixon, of Bogue Chitto and formerly of Memphis, Tenn., are 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, at Rose Hill M.B. Church in Bogue Chitto with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is Friday from noon until 6 p.m. at R.E. Tyler Funeral Home.
Mrs. Dixon, 74, died Feb. 10, 2009, at King's Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven. She was born on Aug. 23, 1934, to the Rev. L.A. Gayten and Annie Pearl Puttman.
She was a hair stylist. She was a member of Gateway Church of God in Christ in Memphis.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, Roy L. Dixon.
Survivors are her sons, Terry Gayten, of Bogue Chitto, and Roy Dixon, of Brookhaven; a daughter, Debra Dover, of Bogue Chitto; a sister, Leora Carter; her eight grandchildren; and her five great-grandchildren.
