She was born on May 9, 1967, in Taylorville, the daughter of Donald W. Lamb and Dorothy (Hardin) Lamb.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by a brother, Andrew (wife, Adrianne) Lamb of Webster Groves, Mo.; a sister, Shelley (Lamb) Canizares (husband, Felix) of Chatham; nieces and nephews, Adam and Adeline Lamb and Lauren Canizares; stepmother, Marion Lamb of Taylorville; stepbrothers, Steve Sandell of Bloomington and Stan Sandell of Taylorville; and a stepsister, Sarah (husband, Tom) Butler of Normal.
Susan was a graphic arts coordinator at Memorial Medical Center. She was a lifetime member of Davis Memorial Christian Church. She was a graduate of Eastern Illinois University and Robert Morris College. She loved animals and music and was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend to all who knew her.
Visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 20, 2009, from 5 p.m. until the time of funeral services at 7 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville, with Pastor Bob Spurgin officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded following services. Inurnment will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009, at Anderson Cemetery in Palmer.
