Roby Aaron Tester

Roby Aaron Tester, age 88, passed away January 26th, 1998 at a local care center.

Born May 15, 1909 in Leesburg, Virginia, to Floyd Leander and Ethel Iola Lovett Tester. He married Nellie Kelbaugh on June 28th, 1928 in Salt Lake City.

Roby served in the US Navy in the Pacific Theater during World War II. He later retired from Kennecott Corp. and was a member of the Murray Baptist Church. He loved to garden and was an avid fisherman.

Survived by wife; children - Betty Fiorella, Donald (Tracy) Tester, Noreen James, Paul (Carla) Tester, Michael (Karma) Tester; 11 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, a son Floyd Gilbert, two brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 30th, 1998, 11 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State St., where friends may call Thurs. 6 - 8 p.m. and Fri. 10-10:50 a.m. Interment Murray City Cemetery.
