Gail Richard Heeter, a resident of Berryville, Arkansas, was born Nov. 28, 1916
in Pierceton, Indiana, the son of Roy and Blanche (Shorb) Heeter.
He departed this life Thursday, January 2, 1997 in his home at the age of 80.
Mr. Heeter was a truck driver for Consolidated Freights. He served our country
in the U.S. Army during World War II and he attended the Freeman Heights Baptist
Church in Berryville.
On April 5, 1947, he was united in marriage with Helen L. Brubaker who survives
him at his home. He is also survived by one sister, Eileen J. Krieder of
Huntington, Indiana; a niece, Sally of Huntington, IN; and a nephew, Bill
Krieder of Goshen, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents. Roy and Blanche
Heeter.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 7, 1997, at Nelson's Chapel in
Berryville with Rev. Scott Cox officiating. #Interment was in the Berryville
Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Memorial
donations may be made to the Freeman Heights Baptist Church Building Fund, W.
Freeman St., Berryville, Arkansas 72616.
