Actor and Film Consultant. Keiffer graduated from West Point in 1911. After his retirement from the army, Kieffer became an actor & technical advisor in Hollywood. Between 1928 and 1962 he appeared in over 29 movies, mostly westerns. Kieffer was also the technical adviser and military consultant on at least five movie productions, "Fort Apache" (1948), "She Wore a Yellow Ribbon" (1949), "Two Flags" (1950) & "Rio Grande" (1950). In the movie "The Longest Day" (1962) he was not only one of the military consultants, but he also played the role of French war hero, Capitaine De Fregati Phillippe Kieffer.
