Rosemary Kennelly, 88, of Fargo died Monday, March 31, 2008, in her home.

Rosemary Elizabeth Crummy was born to Walter and Regina (Fitzsimons) Crummy on February 18, 1920, in Argyle, MN. She graduated from Argyle High School in 1937. She worked as a clerk at the Marshall County Court house in Warren, MN, for approximately 2 years. She married David Cleary on February 7, 1946, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Argyle, MN. They moved to Fargo, ND. She was a homemaker who took great pride in raising her six children. Her husband died on November 11, 1960. Eight years later, on November 9, 1968, she married James Kennelly at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Fargo, ND. He died in 2004.

Rosemary's artistic talents were expressed through her clothing designs which she wore with style and grace. Rosemary loved her renovation projects which included original floor plans, carpentry, upholstery, tiling, wallpapering and furniture refinishing.

By honing her vocabulary skills she became a fiercely competitive Scrabble player and accomplished at solving crossword puzzles.

She was a very active member and volunteer in her church devoting herself to support of pro-life activities and faithful to Eucharistic Adoration.

She is survived by her children, Marlys Pedrick (Bruce) Cambridge, WI, Colleen Bassett (Thomas) Southfield, MI, Michael Cleary (Sue) Riley's Acres, ND, Regina Mandy (Scott) Fargo, ND, Catherine Cleary Ordal (Todd) Boulder, CO, John Cleary, Fargo, ND; 27 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; brother, Leo Crummy (Wilma) Argyle, MN; sister-in-law, Frances Crummy.

She was preceded by her parents and her brothers, Bernard and Eugene Crummy.

Visitation: Thursday, April 3 from 5-7 pm at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo and one hour prior to Mass in the church on Friday.

Prayer Service: Thursday at 7:00pm at the funeral home.

Funeral Mass: Friday, April 4 at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Cathedral, Fargo.

Interment: Holy Cross North Cemetery, Fargo.
