Scott was a graduate of Avondale High School in Auburn Hills and then attended college at Lakeland College in Wisconsin. While at Lakeland he enjoyed playing football as a Linebacker. Following his years at Lakeland he took additional courses at Wayne State University and U of M in Dearborn. Recently he was working in construction for the Commercial and Residential markets when his health would permit.
