Mrs. Elizabeth Woods Dies at Home Here
Mrs. Elizabeth Woods, 78, died at her home in the western part of town here shortly before noon Wednesday. The body rested at Phillips & Luckey funeral home until 3 o'clock this afternoon when services were held with Rev. J. A. Helman of Normangee officiating. Burial was made at Sandy Creek cemetery.
Mrs. Woods had been a resident of Milam county for more than thirty years and had lived here for twenty-one years. She was known for her worthy deeds and her home was always a refuge to those who needed help.
Surviving are the following children: D. F. Bundrick and Mrs. Sallie Mitchell of Rockdale; W. L. Bundrick of Navasota; Sammie Woods of Austin. A large number of grandchildren also survive, among them the following, whom she reared; Mrs. Aline Hobbs, Deward and Marvin Gray, and Dorothy Gray.
