The funeral of the late Mrs. Sue Dabney Williams, whose death occurred after a brief illness on Sunday night at her home on Cleveland Avenue, took place Tuesday afternoon from Christ Episcopal Church, the church where she had been a constant member since its erection some 25 years ago.
The active pallbearers were her sons, grandsons, her only brother and a nephew: Messrs. Henry F. Williams of Pittsburgh; R. W. Williams of Richmond; E. A. Williams of Chicago; A. S. Gravely, W. C. Paxton of Danville; Bernard Grant of Winston-Salem; Robert E. Withers Pittsburgh and Haskins Williams of Boydton, Va.
Mrs. Williams was laid to rest in Oakwood Cemetery beside her husband, the late Henry Sinclair Williams.
