The Tifton Gazette,Austin(A.L.)Brown of Sylvester died at Worth County Hospital after an extended illness.Funeral Services were held at Banks Funeral Chapel,Sylvester.Interment was in Pinetta Baptist Church Cemetery in Irwin County.Mr.Brownhad lived for the past 40 years.He was a retired farmer.He was a US ARMY VETERAN OF WORLD WAR II. He was a member of Upton's Chapel Methodist Church in Danville,Al.He is survived by his wife,Linda Brown, one son Austin "Bo"Brown JR. And three daughters Leigh Kimbrell Mixon, Kim Kimbrell and Rosa Brown.Two Brothers, McCoy Brown and ErnestBrown Jr.,Four sisters, Marie Standridge,Grace Jones,Adell Terrell,& Virginia Fisher. Banks Funeral Home was in chargeof arrangements.He was the son of Ernest & Edna Brown.
