Mrs. Gingerich was born March 15, 1928, in Manchester. She was the daughter of the late Aaron and Mary (Hoffman) Musser.
Ruth graduated from Manchester High School in 1946. She worked for Bon Ton in York and retired from Epco Pharmacy in Manchester. She was a member of the Northeastern Senior Center in Mount Wolf and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Susquehanna V.F.W. Post 2493 in Mount Wolf. She was also a long time member of Otterbein United Methodist Church in Mount Wolf.
In addition to her husband, Edward, Mrs. Gingerich is survived by a daughter, Deborah Sundy and her husband, Scott of Etters; one son, Mark Gingerich of Mount Wolf; two grandchildren, Samuel Rose and Isaac Rose; two sisters, Rachel Gromling of Manchester and Karen Marshlick of York; and three brothers, Philip Musser and Rick Musser, both of Mount Wolf, and Robert Musser of Manchester.
Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery in York.
