When Caroline's mother died she was sent to live with her grandmother, where she and her siblings were very spoiled. His father remarried and her grandmother died shortly after, they left by train in either 1884 or 1886, and arrived in the Gila Valley in Arizona. They lived their for 2 years and then later on moved into the mountains. On May 7, 1890 Caroline married Robert Morris and they had 4 kids together.
