Preceded by wife, Eva Gamble. also 2 daughters, Bessie age 9 and Josie age 18 who drown in the Emory River.

Survivors; sons, James and Farrell Coffey; daughters; Iola Goldsburg, Daisy Marks and Lucille Clark.

Brothers, Harrison, Walter and Lawrence Coffey. Sister, Mae Clark, 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren. Burial at Crab Orchard Cemetery. [Morgan County News 1965]
