Mrs. Hedgepath died Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009, at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan.
She was born Nov. 6, 1917, in Perry, the daughter of Andrew Calvin and Ruth Belle Blevins Patterson. She had lived in McLouth many years.
Mrs. Hedgepath worked as a nurses aide for more than 30 years at the Fairview Nursing Home and at Cherokee Lodge, both in Oskaloosa.
She married Delmer Lee Hedgepath on Aug. 31, 1935, in Ottawa. He died May 1, 1996.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Marlene Potter; a granddaughter; and two great-granddaughters.
Survivors include a son, Albert "Sonny" Hedgepath, McLouth; two daughters, Thelma Lee Durkes and Shirley Faye Kingsolver, both of McLouth; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
