Funeral services for Miss Freda Merle Neal, 64, of Frankston and Corsicana, were held Tuesday, August 21, at 10 a.m. in the Frankston Church of Christ with Hershel Bearden and the Rev. J.A. Griffin officiaiting.
Burial was in the Frankston City Cemetery under the direction of Hassell & Foster.
Miss Neal was born December 27, 1908 in Gallatin, and she died in a Jacksonville hospital Sunday, August 19, at 1:30 p.m. following a long illness.
She was a member of the Church of Christ, and she was preceded in death by her father, Wallace Neal.
Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Leona Neal Davis of Corsicana; a brother, Norman J. Neal of Frankston; two nephews, Jerry Neal and Norman Neal Jr., both of Frankston.
Pallbearers were Roy Herrington, Jeff Austin, Herbert Riley, D. L. Hugon, James Salmon and Billy Bacon.
