Mrs Nora Etoile Measell
Services for Mrs Nora Etoile Measell will be held Nov 13 2002 at 2:00 in Milling Chapel with the Rev Paul DeMoney officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Zion Congregational Church Cemetery with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs Measell, age 83, of Hickory, died Nov 11 2002 at Newton Regional Hospital. She was a retired nurse's assistant.
Survivors included three children: Peggy Bishop and husband Kent of Hickory, Kenneth Measell and wife Kathy of Decatur and Pauline Laird and husband James B of Little Rock AR; 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 1 step sister, Mrs Georgia Rainer of Union MS; one step-brother, Jack Terrell of Corinth MS. She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Ham" Measell. Visitation will be Nov 12 2002 at Milling Funeral Home of Union 6:00-9:00pm. She was a member of Mount Zion Congregational Methodist Church. Pallbearers will be Junior Laird, Lance Roebuck, David Ferguson, Burt Usry, Danny Champion, Ronnie Henderson and Tarrilee Terrell.
