Paula Jane Reed 64, of Sherwood, went to her eternal home to be with her Lord, Friday, February 20, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Hope, AR to Paul H. and Eva Jane Rider Power. Paula was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Joseph Michael Power.
Paula was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church. She was the owner/operator of Sarah's Gifts Inc. She was a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend, aunt and sister.
She is survived by her husband, Hubert Reed; two sons, Scott Broyles and wife, Melissa; Allen Broyles and wife, Stacey; daughter, Sarah Ables and husband, Jeremy; sister, Mary Walla and husband, Henry; brother, John Mark Power and wife, Elizabeth; six grandchildren, Grayson, Jack, Connor, Tanner, John Carter and Margo Jane; nephew and niece, John Paul and Lydia; also survived by brother-in-law, Jerry Reed and sister-in-law, Jo Ann Reed; and host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m., Monday, February 23, 2009 at Park Hill Baptist Church with Dr. Cary Heard and Reverend Luke Flesher officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Sunday, February 22, 2009 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home (501-791-7400).
