Newton, N.C. - Jamie Campbell, 20, of Fairway Drive, Newton, died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
Born March 4, 1988, in Suffolk County, N.Y., she was the daughter of Richard Craig and Terry Ellen Andersen Campbell of the home.

She was a 2006 graduate of Fred T. Foard High School and was a student at Catawba Valley Community College. A lover of the outdoors and writing, she was employed by Geppeto's Pizza.

A sister, Ryann Ried of Charleston, S.C.; a brother, Ben Campbell of the home; a nephew, Ayden Ried of Charleston S.C.; maternal grandmother, Eleanor Andersen of Tampa, Fla.; and her boyfriend, Ryan Guy of Huntersville, survive her.

A celebration of her life and worship service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009, at St. Paul's Reformed Church, with the Rev. Dr. Steve Disher officiating.

Burial will be in St. Paul's Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight, Saturday, Feb. 21, 2009, at the church.
