Our loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister Thelma Jean Scott Dansie passed away on February 18, 2009.

She was born March 7, 1927 in Tremonton, UT to Hyrum and Susan Allen Scott.

She married Ferris George Dansie on August 12, 1949; marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake City Temple. Thelma was an active member of the LDS Church, and served in the Relief Society and Primary. She worked for Auerbachs for 10 years, and was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.

Thelma is survived by her husband Ferris, children; Margene Bagley, Wayne (Pepper) Dansie, Diann (Gary) Hood, nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and sister Margore Gislason. Preceded in death by her parents and one sister.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the Bluffdale 2nd Ward Chapel, 14400 South Redwood Road (1700 West). Friends may call on Sunday evening from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the Broomhead Funeral Home 12600 South 2200 West and on Monday one hour prior at the Church.
Interment: Bluffdale City Cemetery.
