Mrs. Annie Bell Dixon Bryant, 84,passed away Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2002, at Glen-Moor Nursing Home, Thomasville,Ga.
Mrs. Bryant was born April 30, 1917,in Grady County, Ga., to the late Cleveland and Gussie Mae Harrell Dixon.  She was married to Joseph M. Bryant, who preceded her in death.  Mrs. Bryant was residing at 10629 Hwy 19, Thomasville. She was a homemaker and a member of the Assembly of God.
Services were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2002 at Clark Funeral Home Chapel, Cairo, Ga., with the Revs. Hugh Lee Brinkley and Tommy McCormick officiating.  Interment followed at Macedonia Cemetery, Grady County.  Active pallbearers were grandsons.
Survivors include daughters, Bettie Cornett, Thomasville, and Linda Bell Boyett, Cairo; sons, Bueford Bryant, Bartow, Fla., Bobby Bryant, Cairo, Olan Bryant, Fernandina Beach, Fla., and Kirby Bryant, Cairo; a sister, Freda Whitworth, Decatur, Mich.; 20 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 18 great great grandchildren. 
Mrs. Bryant was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph M. Bryant; son, Mervin Bryant; daughter, Evelyn Bryant; Sister, Jewel Barrett; and brother, Hansel, Doug Dixon and Ellis Dixon.  Clark Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
