Mrs. Alberta E. Black, 65, Rural Route 1, Mt. Morris, Illinois, who was dead on arrival, at KSB Hospital at Dixon, Monday afternoon. Funeral services will be held on Thursday afternoon at the Allen Funeral Home, in Sterling, The Rev. William Knott of St. Mary's Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, in Sterling. Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at the funeral Home, Rosary will be recited Wednesday evening at 8 p.m.

Mrs. Black was born Oct. 5, 1913, in St. Paul Minnesota, She was united in marriage to Robert R. Black, She was a member of the Mount Morris Moose Lodge. She is survived by her husband, Robert R. Black, Mt. Morris, three daughters Mrs. Elmer (Arlene) Dombroski, Mrs. Laverne (Ann) Dowd, both of Sterling, and Mrs. Melvin (Betty) Nance, Rock Falls, four sons: Nathaniel Cox, Coleta, Herbert Cox of Modesta, California, Ernest Cox, Rock Falls, and David Cox, Hazel River, Wisconsin. 42 Grandchildren 27 great-grandchildren one sister Mrs. James (Yvonne) Vink, Silver Bay Minnesota, One brother Rene Langlois, Mobil Alabama, She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, one daughter and one brother.
