PORT HURON --- Mabel E. Pemberton Beedon, 79, died Friday, Dec. 29, 1989, in Port Huron Hospital.

She was born Jan. 4, 1910, in Roseburg, the daughter of Ernest and Nellie Reynolds Crysler. She married John "Jack" Pemberton Aug. 7, 1927. He died in 1950. She married Daniel R. Beedon April 16, 1954. He died Feb. 13, 1985.

Mrs. Beedon was self-employed for many years as the proprietor of a new and used furniture store at the north end of Port Huron.

She is survived by a son, William Pemberton of Flint; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Frank (Janet) Pemberton and Mr. and Mrs. Daniel (Diane) Beedon of Port Huron; a daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Joe (Eva) Hofeling of Port Huron; three daughters, Nancy Jackson and Barbara Post and Betty Hackett of Grand Prairie, Texas; 39 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; a brother, Harold Crysler of Goodells. She was preceded in death by four children, John, Theodore, Evelyn and Mary Pemberton, a brother, George Crysler and a sister, Mary Henderson.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Rev. Martha B. Barber of Bethesda Bible Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.

Visiting is 2-4 p.m. today and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday. Palbearers will be Scott Beedon, Ron Doan, Bill Post, Greg Doan, Jim Pemberton, and John Pemberton.
