Mr. Wilson was a lab technician at the DuPont Co.'s Chestnut Run site and retired in 1977 after almost 30 years.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in Europe and Asia. Later, he joined the Delaware National Guard and retired from the Army Reserve about 1981.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sylvia Adams Wilson; two sons, Richard A. of New Castle and Robert J. of Newark; and a granddaughter.
