He was born on March 25, 1943 in Belding the son of Melvin U. and Elsie (Conrad) Rowe. Mr. Rowe graduated from Belding High School and Montcalm Community College. He worked for the Chrysler Lyons Trim Plant for several years before working for General Motors and retired from there after many years of service. He loved fishing, wood working, and old cars.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Rowe, children, Sherry Rowe of Ionia, Carl (Mima) Rowe of Ionia, and Melinda (special friend Mike Carroll) Rowe of Lansing; 2 grandsons, Weslee Rowe and Lincoln Nunez; step sisters, Cathy, Sharon, and Ann.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marsha Rowe and infant sister.
The funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Kenneth Harger at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Ionia with interment at Palo Cemetery.
