AMY D. PARNELL SCHS student TABOR CITY, SC, Amy Dianne Parnell, 17, died Friday, April 8, 2005 in MUSC Hospital in Charleston, S.C. She was born in Mecklenburg County, the daughter of William Stanley Parnell and Marcia Lynn Hudson Parnell. She was an 11th grade student at South Columbus High School where she was a member of the ROTC and was an honor roll student. Final rites were conducted Sunday, April 10 in the Dulah Baptist Church by the Rev. Ragsdale Allsbrook. Interment was in the Dulah Cemetery, Tabor City. Inman Funeral Home of Tabor City handled the arrangements. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister: Laura Parnell and fiance Daniel Lindsey of Charlotte; two brothers: Brandon Stanley Parnell of Charlotte and Daniel Aubrey Parnell of the home; paternal grandmother: Gladys Parnell of Tabor City; maternal grandparents: Louise and Tom Martin of Conway, S.C. and Monte and Jean Hudson of Whiteville. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather: Beamon Parnell.
