Memorial services for Staff Sgt. Clifford A. Aldridge, son of Mr. and Mrs. L.L. Aldridge, will be held Tuesday afternoon in the Wagoner High School auditorium with the Rev. A.S. Cameron conducting the services.

Reburial was in Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of the Hersman Funeral Home. Military services at the grave were conducted by the Sandlin-Boatright Memorial Post of Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Mr. Aldridge joined the Wagoner National Guard Company in 1939, leaving in September, 1940, when the unit was ordered into service as a private first class. He was killed in action July 14, 1943, in Sicily.

Besides his parents, Sergeant Aldridge is survived by two sisters; Melva Jean of the home, and Mrs. Henry Meeks, Wagoner, and two brothers; Ray of Elmore City, and Ellis of the home.
