And friends only numbered by her acquaintance, to mourn her loss.
It is not known that she ever had an enemy. She had been a member & energetic worker in the Christian Church & Sunday School, for about 25 years. She was a great lover of all small children.
It was always a pleasure to her, to please the little ones.
She had many trials to bear in life, but always seems cheerful, hopeful, & happy, and did what she could to smooth life's pathway for others.
She had served a number of years as school treasurer of her township & was often praised for her faithfulness & accuracy.
Her life work is finished and well done. May others profit by her example is our wish.
The very impressive burial service at the Welch Cemetery, conducted by C D Mahan was largely attended.

Mother Dear, thou hast left us,
Here thy loss is deeply felt.
But, 'tis God who hath bereft us;
He can all our sorrows heal.

CARD OF THANKS
We are very thankful to the many friends for their untiring aid & sympathy during the 4 long weeks of sickness of our dear mother, Emma T Martin
