Janice T. Wiser, age 68, of Blue River, died on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at University Hospital in Madison. She was born January 12, 1941 in Summit, IL, the daughter of John and Claudia (Fanta) Luptak. Janice worked for the Wisconsin Department of Revenue prior to her marriage. She was united in marriage with Ardith Wiser, Jr. on December 16, 1967 in Sylvan Township. Janice organized recyclables for the Akan Township recycling center. She enjoyed rummage sales, crossword puzzles, and saving reading material (both new and old). Most of all, however, she enjoyed her children and grandchildren.

her adopted children: Lobo the Labrador and several cats.
Janice was preceded in death by her husband on August 27, 2004, by her parents, her brother in law Don Johnson, and two nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 16, 2009 at the PRATT MEMORIAL CHAPEL. Father Rob Butz will officiate. Burial will be in the Sylvan Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call at the Pratt Memorial Chapel on Monday from 9:00 until 10:45, when the rosary will be prayed. The Pratt Funeral Service is assisting the family with their arrangements
