CLEDA A. BECKETT
A private graveside service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 16, 1994, in Forest View Cemetery in Forest Grove.
Mrs. Beckett died Nov. 12. She was 98.
She was born Sept. 29, 1896, in Hutsonville, Ill. Her maiden name was Brown.
She married William Harold Beckett on Sept. 6, 1924. They moved to the Northwest in 1942, living in Port Angeles, Wash., and Portland, before settling in Forest Grove in 1950. Mr. Beckett died April 5, 1984.
Mrs. Beckett worked for Jantzen Knitting Mills in the 1940s.
She is survived by her sons, Jack B. of Columbia, Mo., and William H. Jr. of Forest Grove; daughter, Margaret Ann Sullivan of Hillsboro; brother, Oden Brown of Springfield, Ill.; sister, Ona Mitchell of Robinson, Ill.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
