Andrew fought under General Sterling Price and also rode with William Quantrill during the civil war. After the war he took up the gospel and preached in Clay and LaFayette counties.

Andrew married Lucretia Stephens on Apr. 26, 1860 in Jackson County, Missouri. He married Louisa Sophia Hesse on Aug. 7, 1862, not sure where. This information is from Family Trees and is not confirmed.

Louisa Hesse Robinson is buried in the Oak Grove, MO cemetery. While it is not for certain, there's a good possiblity that Andrew's body was removed from the Anderson Cemetery in Napoleon and moved to Oak Grove where he lies next to Louisa. This is not confirmed.
