SIZEMORE, Shirley Layton age 84, of Springboro, Ohio passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2009 at his home. He was born on August 27, 1924 in Rock Castle County, Kentucky to J.B. and Cynthia (Doyle) Sizemore. Shirley was a veteran of World War II and was retired from Lebanon City Schools. He was a member of the Northside Baptist Church in Lebanon. Preceding him in death were his parents; a daughter, Faye; brothers and sisters, Jimmy, Casper, Lucy, Helen and Ralph. Surviving is his wife, Jewell; two children, Dewey of New Lebanon and Boyce of Springboro; a sister, Stella and a brother, Charles. He also leaves 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren who loved him dearly, and lots of friends who loved to sit and listen to his stories. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, February 20, 2009 at the Anderson Funeral Home, 40 North Main Street, Springboro, Ohio 45066 with burial following at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
