Virgil Eugene Morris, 75, of Wentzville, died Sunday (May 12, 1996) of natural causes at St. Joseph Hospital West in Lake Saint Louis. Mr. Morris was retired and been employed as a machinist.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Morris of Wentzville; three sons: T.W. "Butch" Morris of O'Fallon; Jay D. Morris of Portsmouth, VA; Troy C. Morris of Wentzville; one daughter, Cynthia Kay Townsend of Wentzville; one brother, Lem L. Morris of Gamabiel, AR; three sisters: Elva Clark of Parkville, MO; Marie Gibson of Leadwood; Alice Pierce of Farmington; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation was held at the T.E. Pitman Funeral Home, 909 Pitman Avenue, Wentzville. The funeral was held on Wednesday, May 15, 1996 at the funeral home. Burial was in the Leadwood Cemetery in Leadwood.
