My beautiful Granddaughter Mackenzie LeeAnn Captain perished in a blazing fire that took her life and her brothers life because of an unattended Kerosene Heater.My life will never be the same.Although I tried to Camcord the aftermath destruction ,I just could never finsih .May Mackenzie and her brother rest in peace !

She was born October 22, 2004 in Muskegon to Jeffery and Tosha (Captain) Barber. SURVIVORS include her parents; 2 brothers, Kenneth and Landon Barber; grandparents, Kenneth Willard, Sheryl Captain, Alan (Jeffery) and Bonnie Barber;Great-Grandmother Margaret Anne Elizabeth Barber great-grandmother, Delorse Captain; Aunts and Uncles :Rhonda (Leslie) Wilson ,Emily (Andy)Collins Roxanne Willard, Becky Captain, DeAnna Hoogerhyde, Delorce Captain, Kendrick Captain; special cousin, Savannah Captain; cousin, Cameron Willard; and many other cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother, Dustin Edward Captain; grandfather, Benny Captain; uncles, Kenneth Willard and Billy Captain. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Tuesday at The Sytsema Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. (231) 726-5210 with Pastor John H. Brown officiating. Burial will take place in Fruitport Cemetery.
