Rev. Dyson Meminger Hench was one of 12 children born to Ross Hench and Mary Bixler, husband of Mary B. Mullen, married July 30, 1908 in Pittsburgh, Pa. The father of Ruth Simpson Hench.
Rev. Hench was ordained in the United Brethren ministry in 1896.
Rev. Hench died in an accident at the Boydton Institute in Boydton, Virginia.
