Deceased Name: Sherry Loyd
Sherry Loyd, 29, departed this life Thursday (March 20, 2008) while in Satilla Regional Medical Center.

She was born Jan. 16, 1979 in Waycross to James Loyd and Debbie Loyd-Tripp. She attended schools in both Ware and Glynn counties and graduated from Brunswick High School.

She was a member of Northside Temple Holiness Church in Waycross until she moved to Brunswick and joined The First Born Church of The Living God.

She was a faithful member of the Soul Saving City Youth Choir until her health failed.

She leaves to cherish her memories a loving and devoted mother, Debbie Loyd-Tripp; her father, James Loyd; two sisters, Shawanda Loyd and Clinetta Hall, both of Waycross; one brother, Steven Hall, of Waycross; a most loving and devoted grandmother and grandfather, Henrietta and ElijahWilliams; and a host of relatives including, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A funeral will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Northside Temple Holiness Church, 1216 Abner St., with Elder Clarence Adamson officiating.

Burial will take place in Waresboro Cemetery.

The family will receive callers at the home of her grandmother, Henrietta Williams, 1203 Blackwell St., Waycross.

Final arrangements are entrusted to Perry Brothers Funeral Home, 1100 State St., Waycross.
