Georgia Mae Hall Mills
Georgia Mae Hall Mills, age 90, of Marion, N.C. passed away on Friday, February 13, 2009, at Sunrise Rehabilitation and Rehab Center.
A native of Mitchell County, she was born Sept. 5, 1918 to the late Thomas Hall and Ellen Marie Bartlett Hall.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister and will be greatly missed.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory two children: Ruth Gray of Marion and Robert Mills Jr., of Charlotte; one brother, Frank Hall of Marion and six grandchildren: Karen Dockery, Steve Gray, Kimberly Cross all of Marion, Steve, Robbie and Toni Mills of Indian Trail and two great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at 11:00 AM in Westmoreland Chapel with Rev. Don Mitchell officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
