I am wondering if these two 1880 census clarify or muddy water. I think perhaps the first family is correct for S R Stevens and Emma Bolles, daughter of Charles Bradley Bolles and Adelia Chatfield. There only child being 'Hettie'.

The 1880 census shows the only child, 'Hettie' aged 4 born to S R Stevens and Emma nee Bolles. The ages are different for Hettie and Jessie. I have removed Grace, Lester and Ruie and left Hettie changed from Jessie.

I found my GGGgrandfather, Samuel Ruggles Stevens, Find A Grave Memorial# 33963593, Fairview Cemetery, Colorado Springs, El Paso County, Colorado, USA. There seemed to be some confusion to as to his wives and children, Justifiably so as his first wife's name was Emma and his second wife was Clara Emma....
