Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper, 1971:
" John William Albers, 78, of Argyle, died Wednesday, March 10 (1971) at his home. Mr. Albers was born June 14, 1892 at Westphalia, the son of Joseph and Elizabeth Zeilmann Albers. On May 11, 1946, he married the former Miss Gertrude Zeilmann, who survives.
Other survivors include: three brothers - William Albers, Westphalia; Conrad Albers - St. Thomas; and Louis Albers, Union; and two sisters - Mrs. Louise Baumhoer, Folk; And Mrs. Cecelia Porting, Rich Fountain.
Services were held Saturday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Argyle, with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Ralph Kutz officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery."
