He married Elizabeth (Beth) Martineau in the Manti Temple, February 28, 1942. Woodrow was called to serve in the army in the South Pacific during World War II. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and has held various church positions during his life. Woodrow farmed the Hurricane Valley for 30 years.
Woodrow has preceeded his wife, Beth, of sixty-six years; Josie (Clair) Smith; Evan (Vivian) Brown; Eldon Brown; Mindy (Jack) Sullivan; LaRue Pearce; Vernie (Brad) Burner; Janette (Russ) Van Leer. He had thirty-one grandchildren, fifty-seven great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 17, 2009 at the Hurricane LDS 9th Ward ( Red Brick) Chapel, Hurricane, Utah. Interment will be at the Hurricane City Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Metcalf Mortuary.
