William J. Rauch, age 78, of Rt. 1, Ingraham, died this morning at the Richland Memorial Hospital.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at the Summers-Marshall Funeral Home.
Mr. Rauch was a native of Jasper County and was the son of George Rauch and Helen Buerster Rauch.
He was a member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church at Wendelin.
Mr. Rauch was married to Alma I. Kistner on March 29, 1921 and was a veteran of World War I and a member of the American Legion Post at Dieterich.
Besides his wife he leaves seven children; Mrs. Lavera Bryan of Ingraham, Wilford Rauch of Teutopolis, Clifford Rauch of Ingraham, Melvin Rauch of St. Charles, Arthur and Harold Rauch and Mrs. Geneva Geier, all of Newton; 62 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Fehrenbacher of Philo, Mrs. Olivia Fehrenbacher of Olney and Mrs. Joseph Massey of Newton.
