Services for Kathern Ann "Annie" Allen, 88, Ada, will be 10:30 a.m. Friday in the First Indian Baptist Church, with burial in Rosedale Cemetery.

Conducting the rites will be the Rev. Howard Baker, assisted by the Rev. David Sutton and the Rev. Jimmy Bruner.

Mrs. Allen died Tuesday, March 21, 1978, in a local hospital.

She was born, March 22, 1889, in Cordova, Neb., to George and Nellie Hazlett Kingen, and moved to Konawa in 1893. She moved to Ada in 1906, where she married Perry Aden Allen, March 10, 1906. He died here, June 23, 1969.

Mrs. Allen was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include five sons, Pete, Harrison, J.C. , Henry, and Harold Allen , all of Ada; four daughters, Blanche Cheek, Ada, Edna Burns, Keota, Lena Brown and Sylvia Simpson, both of Elroy, Arizona; two brothers, Roy Hitginson, Greenriver, Wyoming, and Victor Hitginson, Casper, Wyoming; 55 grandchildren; 94 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren.

Bearers will be grandsons, Jerry Allen, A.M. Cheek, Kenneth Burns, Bobby Waters, Roy Allen, and J.C. Allen Jr., with all other grandsons being honorary bearers.


Criswell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
