Rose B. Venable - Funeral services were Tuesday, December 10 at 2pm at the First Baptist Church in Drumright for Rose B. Venable. Mrs. Venable died Sunday, Dec. 8, 1985, at St Francis Hospital in Tulsa, after a long illness.

Rose Venable was born March 6, 1903 in Blueridge, Texas and had lived in Durant and Seminole most of her life. Mrs. Venable had made her home in Tulsa prior to moving to Drumright. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Drumright.

Serving as Pallbearers were John Brown, Virgil Cooper, Jack Embree, and Bill Best.

Mrs. Venable was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Venable; two sons, Clifford and Eugene Venable and one sister.

She is survived by one son, John Venable, Drumright; two brothers, Bill Montgomery, Chickasha, OK, and Cecil Montgomery of Denison, TX, seven grandchildren, and nineteen great grandchildren.

Internment at the Oak Hills Cemetery.
