Wallace Hamilton Fletcher Sr., 78, died Monday, Nov. 15, 1999, in Tallahassee.
A native of Palatka, he had lived in Tallahassee since 1941. He worked for the Secretary of State for 25 years and the Florida Legislature for 17 years, before retiring in 1987. He served in World War II, serving in New Guinea, the Philippines and Japan. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Tallahassee.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Tallahassee Memory Garden in Tallahassee with burial to follow.
