Abram W. Wenk, 62, Aspers R. 1, died Saturday evening at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Groft. 1059 Poplar street, York, where he had lived for the last six months, from a complication of diseases. He had been in ill health two years and was bedfast eight weeks.

The deceased was born, and always resided in Adams county, a son of the late Thomas and Mary Jane (McCauslin) Wenk. He was a retired farmer and carpenter. His wife, the former Emma K. Deardorff, died June 1, 1928. He was a member of the Wenksville Methodist church; Montana Lodge of the IOOF, Bendersville; POS of A of Bendersville; Paul E. Commandery, POS of A of Hanover and the Gettysburg Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Mr. Wenk served for 12 years as a school director in Menallen township.

Services Tuesday

Surviving are seven children: Mrs Ergie Tuckey, Biglerville R. 1; Mrs. Maurice Baldwin, Bendersville; Mrs. James Marshall, Dillsburg R. 1; Mrs. Charles McBeth, Biglerville R. 1; Wilson D., Aspers R. 1; Mrs. Groft, York, and Mrs. Paul Leitner, Flushing, New York; six grandchildren; three sisters. Miss Blanche Wenk. Bendersville; Mrs Grace Kerr, Dilliburg, and Mrs. W J. Cluck, Bendersville, and one brother, William, Paxtang.

Funeral services Tuesday afternoon, meeting at the Routsong and Dugan funeral home, Bendersville, at 1 o'clock with further services at the Wenksville Methodist church conducted by the Rev. George W. Harrison.

Interment in the Wenksville cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home this evening fiom 7 to 9 o'clock

A reunion of the Deardorff family was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Deardorff, at Gardners, on Sunday. Those present were:

Bream, Mr. and Mrs. Lemuel Burtner, Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Wenk, Mr. and Mrs. Arbin Deardorff, Mr. and Mrs. George Yeatts, Wallace Bream, Mearl Bream, Bruce Burtner, Kenneth Deardorff, Wilson Wenk, Leila Bream, Vera Group, Myrtle Wenk, Mildred Wenk, Grace Wenk, Jenetta Wenk, Mary Wenk, Dorothy Burtner, Oneda Deardorff, Helen Yeatts, Wilda Wenk. One son in the far West and a daughter in New York were unable to attend.
