ANTHONY KEYS Passed away December 18, 2005, in Fremont, CA. He was 85 years old. Born on March 1, 1920 in Kinder, LA. Anthony was a teletype operator with the Army during WWII. Received ATO, EAMETO, Good Conduct, WWII victory medals as well as a Purple Heart. After WWII, he went to commercial college and took a course in radio communications. He collected stamps and in recent years spent many hours on his computer. He is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Estelle. Survived by 2 daughters: Mary and John Bardo of Grass Valley, CA and Cathy and Cliff De Costa of Fremont, CA. 6 grandchildren: Tracy and Jim Policastro of Brentwood, CA; Kenny and Liz Popst of Walnut Creek, CA; Danny De Costa of Fremont, CA; Lloyd Barks of Grass Valley, CA; Anthony De Costa of White Plains, NY; Joel De Costa of Fremont, CA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 21st from 12:00pm to 2;00pm and Funeral service at 2:00 pm at Chapel of the Chimes, Hayward.
