Private funeral services for Johnny Walker, 80, of Crystal River, Florida, formerly of Dayton, Ohio and Monterey, will be held Sunday May 18 at 1 p.m. at Horner Funeral Home in Monterey with Rev Marvin Nash officiating. Burial will be in Whittaker Cemetery.
Mr. Walker died Thursday, May 15, 1986 in the Seven Rivers Hospital in Crystal River following a brief illness.
A native of Monterey, he was the son of the late William and Martha Ford Walker. He was a retired machinist for the Delco Division of General Motors Corp in Dayton, Ohio.
He was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church of Dayton.
His family includes his wife, Mrs. Willie Ann Lawson Walker of Crystal River, Fl; two daughters, Dorothy Cooney of Inverness, Fl and Saundra Webb of Ohio; two sons, Benton of Crystal River and Gene of Xenia, Ohio; a sister, Elleine Blaylock of Brooksville, Ohio; three brothers, Nate of Monterey; Clyde of Dayton, Ohio and Clarence of Chattanooga.
Horner Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
