Rosalie Murphy Fox, 89, of Tully, passed away Thursday, February 12, at Groton Nursing Facility. She was the wife of the late Andrew Fox, who passed away in September 2008. A longtime resident of Tully, she was born in Canada, the daughter of Dominic and Mary Jane Larkin Murphy. Rosalie graduated from St. Mary's High School and retired from Tully schools, where she was a secretary. Besides her husband, Rosalie was predeceased by her parents, Dominic and Mary Jane Larkin Murphy; three brothers, Fred Murphy, Father James Murphy, and William Murphy; and three sisters, Kathleen Robinson, Sister Carolyn Murphy OFM and Helen McKibben. She is survived by her sister, Lillian Jennings of Cortland; many nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and -nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, February 14, at St. Leo's Church, 120 Onondaga St., Tully, NY. Burial will be in the spring at St. Leo's Cemetery. No calling hours. Contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
