Sarah Ann FREEMAN was the wife of McDaniel George OLIVER Sr. Her husband's C.S.A. service record: Company D, 11th Battalion, Georgia Infantry, Army of Tennessee, C.S.A.,Screven County, "Screven Guards." Oliver, McDaniel - Private May 6, 1862. Transferred to Co. D, 47th Regiment Ga. Inf. May 12,1862. Roll for February 28, 1863, last on file, shows him present. No later record. (Born in Screven County Ga. April 11, 1820.)
