Myrtle Jean Cloninger Rash, 84, 4357 S. Olivers Crossroads, Maiden, died Feb. 12, 2009.
A native of Gaston County, she was retired from the textile industry. She was a member of Denver Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Stella Brooks Cloninger; husband, Frank Gamble Rash and son, Ronald Rash.
Survivors include sons, Frank "Mike" Rash Jr., of Stanley and Mark Rash of Denver; daughter, Diane Rayfield of Maiden; sister, Betty Noblett of Bessemer City; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Gaston Memorial Park in Gastonia. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
