William J. Robbins, 83, of Medford, NY, died February 11, 2009. He was born May 24, 1925 in Port Chester, NY. The son of Anna (Kisio) and William H. Robbins. Loving husband of Marie S. Robbins. Beloved father of Barbara (Joseph) Baltz, Richard (Carole) Robbins, Gale (Thomas) Nardi and Steven (April) Robbins. Cherished grandfather of Wendy, Samantha, Brian, Dennis, Kimberly, Lisa, Shannon, Krystle, Randall, Shane and Cory. WW II Veteran; Recipient of the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart; served in the 376th Infantry Division under General Patton during the Battle of the Bulge. He was a long time employee of Ward Leonard Electric Co., Mt. Vernon, NY and held such responsibilities as Comptroller, Treasurer & CFO. He was an avid fisherman and a member of LIBBA and Montauk Surfcasters; American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and a former member of the Elks.

He was in the 376 Infantry Regiment of the 94th Infantry Division in the 3rd Army.
